Once again a reminder: We can have trans rights, bodily autonomy, gender nonconformity, and freedom of expression, or we can have none of these things.

There’s no third option.
In addition to this administration trying to kill kids, and they're also coming for our binders? OUR BINDERS.

Sam Altman should rot in hell.
And OpenAI should be stripped for parts.
Fuck these AIbros--they do not care what harm they inflict on the world, and we just seem to continue to allow them to do exactly what they want.

MassGrave is a collection of scripts that are open source (see below) that are mostly running a bunch of the old archaic Windows service programs using magic tricks.

Because fuck AI, fuck Windows 11.

Share the video above with the people you know are on Windows 10 still.

to me, “you should create for yourself” and “you deserve to be acknowledged for what you make” are two statements that should coexist. chasing engagement will rot your soul, while being neglected will see your passion wither. loving what you make is a failsafe for when the engagement never comes.

Reminder: Oppose and repeal all the age/ID verification laws. They're not protecting their kids but they are censoring you and demanding your personal info.

Tell them to stop.
Tell them to get rid of this shit.
There are still people at conventions telling me, "They won't ban porn!" but these ID verification laws already have. Because there is no federal, safe and secure way to make those verifications happen; we will simply see site shut down or ban porn all together. You have to be realistic.
Finding out that so many people have purchased my books but never backed them up anywhere safe?! People really thought porn wasn't in trouble, huh? They really thought that Itchio could go on forever with anti-porn bills breathing down our necks... 😭

they don't have the capacity to compel obedience by the process of law.

they don't have the capacity to compel obedience by violence.

the only lever by which they can obtain obedience is fear.

do not offer it to them.

Pritzker: What's at stake here is free speech. It's our constitution and our way of life. Do we really want the president intimidating people, organizations to get others fired? People ought to be standing up and speaking out.

Erotic art is just the beginning. The goal is total cultural control.

Remember the whole fuss about gangsta rap? About atonality? How quarter-tones represented "a primitive, even barbaric condition"?

These ghouls will come for and take EVERYTHING that you value and enjoy, unless they are stopped.
this is nightmarish and should alarm you no matter what your opinions on pornography are

The right-wing fascist ascendancy is a global phenomenon, and hopping across borders does not mean you can actually hide from it. You may find a slightly better local maximum for your particular needs, but this is a global problem and it requires a global, solidaric solution.

Understand, why fighting this moral panic and fighting against payment processors as well as puritan politicians is so important, started with games, it's now going to your music, if you don't fight, better get ready to see all your stuff sanded down to puritan evangelical sensitivities.
Bandcamp has made a very bad decision which will hurt musicians. BC is requiring all artists and labels to use Stripe payment processor that has closed accounts due to their policy of no sensitive content sold with their system but worse, their policy is to equal LGBT content with sensitive content.

The big takeaway here is that Reuters won this case against the AI company on grounds they violated fair use—the judge found the AI company was guilty because, in using copyrighted works to generate its output, it “meant to compete... by developing a market substitute.”

Huge.

Thomson Reuters has won the first major AI copyright case in the US. The decision has big implications for the battle between generative AI companies and rightsholders.

REVOLUTION means NO ONE GETS LEFT BEHIND.
Not just trading one set of tyrants for another.
Not just trading one set of undesirables for another.

It means the ABOLITION of tyrants and undesirables.
It means building a brave and free new world with every brick we manage to tear from their prisons.

When self-determination and self-expression are under attack, real liberatory orgs don't back down - they DOUBLE down.

That includes us. A threat to one freedom is a threat to all freedoms, including the freedom to compose and perform music that TRULY reflects your heritage and artistic vision. (1)
