Today, we celebrate four years of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. Since it became law, it has funded improvements to bridges, airports, and roads, and expanded broadband access across Virginia. I’ll keep working to reauthorize it so we can build on the progress we've made.

This is far and away my pettiest Tim Kaine gripe but the Senator’s advance staff always deliver a bottle of Maker’s Mark that is for him only to fundraising events so he doesn’t have to do toasts with the cheap beer and wine the hosts provide and that always really irked me

This is from March but I still think about it and find myself wondering if this is, you know, a viable system of government that can be saved or deserves to be saved.
I love to call my Senators' offices three times per week and try to cajole them into doing the most elementary political messaging and strategy. This is what it means to be an engaged citizen: leaving a strenuously polite voicemail for a 74yo on a more regular cadence than I talk to my parents.
