The FBI director was deliberately designed to have 10-year term structure separate from Presidential administrations to prevent blatant partisan meddling, people have just let Trump chew up and spit out what’s supposed to be one of the major institutional protections against weaponizing the FBI

Kind of interesting on the news how no one is willing to really acknowledge the most 1-1 cause of the UHC shooter’s anger: struggling to get treatment for his chronic back pain. Instead everyone seems to be seeking other explanations for his radicalization, e.g. video games, that sound normal.
