OMFG.

I was unemployed for more than 2 years after 2008 and it took me several more to get a job in my field.

And 10+ years to even approach the income I was making in 2008.

But yeah, let’s remove the straitjackets on the financial systems, they’re the victims here. 🙄

“And whatever your particular problem is, I promise you, [Donald Trump] is not the least bit interested in solving it. He is interested in two things, and two things only, making you afraid of it and telling you who’s to blame for it.”

Primary them all and block anybody who comes with the “at this crucial juncture the most important thing is that we win.” if they believed that they wouldn’t do this and with friends like them nobody needs enemies
Here are the 28 Dem Senators who voted to advance the first federal ban on trans athletes & a federal definition of sex that would make trans & intersex people non-existent: Angela Alsobrooks (MD), Tammy Baldwin (WI), Richard Blumenthal (CT), Lisa Blunt Rochester (DE), Chris Coons (DE), ->
By a vote of 76-23, S 1071 passes the motion to proceed to the motion to concur. Won't know who voted for this until the roll call is uploaded, but safe to say it passed with the support of at least 24 members of the Democratic caucus. (Rand Paul probably voted nay and Steve Daines has been absent).

One way that the reaction to Rob Reiner's murder mirrors Charlie Kirk's is that the best way to eulogize each of them is to quote their words, and in both cases, doing so pisses off conservatives.
Rob Reiner: “Silence in the face of authoritarianism is complicity. Speaking out is a patriotic act. Democracy doesn’t defend itself. It requires participation, vigilance, and courage from ordinary people."

Fibroids are common, about 70-80% of women develop them by age 50. But the first time dealing with them can be alarming. For writer Raina Lipsitz, it resulted in a pool of blood under her desk. “Was the ceiling weeping blood, like something out of a horror movie?"

You guys really need to develop the capacity of simultaneously holding the truth that the colonialist occupation and genocide of Palestine is unacceptable AND violent antisemitism is real

Both are true

It’s stunning that an entire political party is willing to live with this and, worse, exploits efforts to prevent gun violence to hang on to power.

It sure is something watching Girl Guides protest the exclusion of their trans members, at the same time as the BBC pushes someone out for being a trans ally and routinely updates their news articles to insert transphobic terminology.

Quote this with a book you read way too young that explains why you are the way you are.

Israel’s genocide on Palestinians has 8% support from Democrats but 71% support from MAGAs

If you’re an elected Dem still taking AIPAC $ or still silent on genocide—you’re on the wrong side of history, or a MAGA

You dont get to claim you condemn Trump’s fascism while embracing Netanyahu’s genocide

There is no “war on Christmas” & no one is banning “merry Christmas"

I'm Muslim—saying "Merry Christmas" to me isn't offensive. Offensive is when MAGA cuts food stamps, healthcare, & education while giving trillions in tax cuts to billionaires

They want to repeat lies to make them true in people's minds. Every time you hear these lies, remind people that Biden left Donald Trump an economy that The Economist called envy of the world. ZERO% chance of a recession. Donald's regime has dragged it down into a stagflation.
Karoline Leavitt lies with impunity on Fox & Friends: "Don't forget -- a year ago, President Trump inherited the worst inflation crisis in modern American history from the Biden administration."

I’ve been saying this for some time. And the networks/outlets need to speak up too. It should be made clear that his behavior is unacceptable.
It’s way past time for every WH reporter to speak out to Trump’s face when he’s insulting female reporters. Is your access so critical that you’ll allow your colleagues to be abused?
