Any historians of domestic maintenance seeing this: when did one know they were "done" beating rugs outside? For fun/stress relief, I beat a small rug (with olde rug beater) that gets vacuumed but this rug never stopped giving off small bits of dust. Or does one just beat until the bulk dissipates?
