The new issue of @mekongreview.com has a bunch of sound and music stuff, including this lovely piece about street cries in Vietnam, which happens to be open-access. By Phạm Thu Trang.

Street cries - Mekong Review

Credit where due, though: this perfectly describes the experience of playing Monopoly (and by design in fact).
Living under capitalism is like being forced to play a board game you dislike where the rules are boring, unfair and nonsensical but which the winners, who started with an advantage, keep explaining are excellent, and if you try improve the game you’re “cheating” but if you stop playing you’ll die

Blah, the Thai general election falls to the nationalist bhumjaithai party. Not quite far-right in global terms, but plenty lousy.

It wasn’t a terribly fair election, either, to put it mildly.

With artdump.ai I can make ten thousand art per second, compared to Renoir who couldn’t even do 100 art per year, a bad rate; this is why he has never been exhibited at an Applebee’s, and maybe never will
