Apparently the little watermelon plants we bought produce exploding watermelons. I touched this one gently to see if it was ready and it burst open. Tastes good. Weird design.

My spouse just ruined* my pink pirate shirt in the laundry and it's hitting me hard because sewing is keeping me sane.
*I'll see if I can re-dye it, but I dyed the original linen before I made the shirt, so it won't dye evenly. Now it's a weird blue overdye, so who knows what color it will end up.

About 2003 my husband found a scarf in a park, one of those pashminas that were hip then. It was a sad cream color. I washed it and held onto it, through various moves, but never wearing it because meh. Today I dyed it "gardenia pink" and it looks fab.
