Literally so boring.
Spotted between the 694-94 interchange and Broadway exit, headed southbound on 94. Exceeded 80 mph in a 60, weaving through traffic. Driver wearing a mask behind the wheel. #ice #iceout

Fascism is extremism.

Anti-fascism is not.

We’re living in a period of reality inversion and moral inversion.

I read Kamala’s 107 Days…and I think all the excerpts and online discussion paint a misleading picture of her level of reflection about the genocide and her handling of it during the campaign.

She basically doubles down on her approach in the book…

The best way to honor Charlie's memory is to continue his work: engage with each other, across ideology, through spirited discourse. In a democracy, ideas are tested through words and good-faith debate — never through violence.

Kirk’s end was the logical conclusion of the very forces he unleashed, a violent symptom of a social order in a state of advanced decay. He lived by the gun, ideologically speaking, and he perished by it.
Rest in Piss Charlie Kirk
His death is entered into the ledger as a cost of doing business.

this has to be rage bait. this can't be a real take.
Just a general FYI: I get that the CIA and FBI did some shady and crappy things in the 50s-80s. But if you are using those examples as referents for their (legal) powers *now,* you are showing your ignorance of some major constraints that were placed on them by Congress*

If you keep sacrificing your nominal allies to the meat grinder in hopes that you will eventually once again get to be in charge of the meat grinder's operation, you'll one day look around and realize you're alone with the folks demanding ever more ground human.

The list doesn't only track follow farming. Spamming mass follows is also highly inauthentic behavior (even when well-intentioned).

The situation in Palestine is horrific, but the best way for an honest person to not be on a list like this is to operate in a way that doesn't look scammy.

In the message posted just before he was killed, Anas Al-Sharif warned of Israel's proposed liquidation of Gaza City.

He said: "Silence is complicity."

He was right.

It's just not the disgusting cheerleaders of the genocide who are guilty. It's those who chose to stay silent.

Mpls political historians put the Frey loss in context. You have to go back 81 YEARS to find a similarly brutal failure.

Put another way: Joe Biden was an infant when this last occurred.
last non-seriously contested endorsement was in 1979, last time an incumbent lost an endorsement to someone else was 1944 (!!)
When thinking about Omar Fateh winning the DFL endorsement this weekend, it's useful to know some context: A challenger has not won the DFL endorsement against an incumbent mayor in at least this century. I'll leave it to others with longer memories to say if it has EVER happened.

Abroad the U.S. is in the verge of bombing a country without cause. At home masked agents are arresting officials and disappearing our people. There is no disentangling war overseas and fascism at home. Everyone who opposes fascism must oppose Trump illegally attacking Iran.

BREAKING: A fucking ICE agent rammed into a car full of U.S. citizens—then fled the scene. LAPD confirms it. This wasn’t a routine stop. This was state-sanctioned racial profiling turned felony hit-and-run. ICE is operating like a gang now.

Where’s the accountability?
