Lots of talk that ICE is an out of control, militarized police force in Minneapolis acting like an invading army. In truth, that describes police forces in all major cities. Even when Dems are elected, they seem unable to control the local or state police, reduce the budgets, or reign them in.

For safety I think neighborhoods should stick to blocking streets using those big metal fences that some jerk has been abandoning under bridges.
Keeping streets clear is critical to protect lives and property. Blocked streets & makeshift checkpoints are serious concerns for emergency responders as they can delay response times & restrict access. Neighbors have echoed the City’s public safety concerns about this. Let’s keep our streets open.
