Remember when you censored Judith Butler for calling the gender-critical movement fascist? Or when you ran an editorial both sides-ing gender identity reform? Or when you quoted a transphobic hate group as a neutral source? Or when you basically republished one of their press releases verbatim?

Two people said "6" and "7" immediately after each other, I hit them with the "6 7" and the reaction was like if I'd said "I've Lost The Game" in the mid 2000s.

Absolutely fucking gorgeous.

When I tell you I don't remember the last time I thought of this song...It has to be 2 decades at this point.
I was just dreaming about this song when I was woken up. A fucking banger.

He’s laundered a genocide. He demonises desperate people seeking asylum. He panders to Reform at the expense of people of colour. He’s implementing transphobic policies. He cuts benefits for disabled people. “Inoffensive”? He’s deeply offensive if you are affected by any of this (Lewis isn’t)
How can this inoffensive man have become so viscerally loathed?

this isn't the point but it is funny and kind of a broader point that the focus of the subhead is "architects" and then they replaced what was, in the original photo, labourers.
I guess it's fitting that it's a reimagined, worse version of someone else's artwork

Stuck on remand for over a year, political prisoners' demands for bail and a fair trial are concessions the government could make today. Yet it's entirely possible this callous government will risk the lives of those who are not convicted of a crime and who – unlike Elbit – pose no threat to anyone

Setting Madeley aside for a moment, I think part of the issue is that once people realise *just how much* wages have been allowed to fall away from where they should be, the figure seems insurmountable and therefore ridiculous to ask for, but that's our fucking money, stolen from us by capital.
Richard Madeley "How realistic is it for any profession to expect to be paid in real terms what they were paid in 2008?"

The UK is the 6th largest economy in the world & the rich have never been richer, but Madeley thinks the rest of us should just accept being poorer #GMB

To be fair to Madeley, he rather concisely captures the British disease of spite, vindictiveness, permanent race to the bottom of the bucket crab mentality, and "nothing must ever get any better"-itis

We now learn that Fifa had a very specific "ask" in exchange for its "Peace Award" to Trump, with loads of gold trinkets, and that was dismissal of a criminal corruption case against senior Fifa officials. And Trump granted it. Another corrupt bargain, barely noticed (and ignored by US media).

It’s hard to exaggerate how bad the situation is in the UK. There are eight people on hunger strike and David Lammy recently claimed he wasn’t even aware of it. That hunger strikers may actually die is barely even news.

They are clearly pushing for broader hemispheric influence to counter China--this is why they are bragging about the Monroe Doctrine. Should probably take them seriously!
People keep wondering why they're going after Venezuela. It's because they want to do regime change and control its oil, then use a big tract of land there to keep a tax free "network state" that looks like Dubai but operates like Rhodesia. They are saying this out loud! Believe them!
