I love how Militant so totally broke the brains of the Labour right that they're still rent free 40 years later

The funniest thing about Twitter these days is that right wing dipshits still think their content is being suppressed by some unseen liberal forces.

Elon Musk has owned the site for over three years now.

If Goodwin is considered too much of a racist reactionary to be an activist for the racist, reactionary Reform UK, but not too much of a racist reactionary to be intro'd as anything other than a 'presenter, former professor & author' by BBC QT, then what type of organisation does that make the BBC?

If you want to read more about how BBC Newsnight actively worked as agents of anti-trans propaganda - platforming misinformation and working as a lobby platform to influence anti-trans policies - you can read more from the excellent @simonwhitten.bsky.social here:

This is archetypal Starmer, brilliant, no notes
This is even funnier than it just being Streeting on manoeuvres.

Worse than that. The entire transphobic panic that the UK is suffering through has been totally manufactured by a tiny cabal of hacks who all go to the same dinner parties and work in the same editorial rooms.
I've been reading about this from an Australian perspective, and it seems very clear that a group of UK journalists, none of them with any apparent medical expertise, have collaborated with a medical old guard to press a false consensus against youth gender medicine.

Worth wondering how many different major British institutions have to be deeply malicious, for a story like this to appear.
Treasonous human rights laws mean special forces now can’t even murder scads of civilians in a series of bloodcurdling war crimes and lie about what they’ve done while the government covers it up, without facing a lot of impertinent questions

Fun fact: The ECU actually used the phrase “trans identity”, not “trans ideology”, and, in editing that quote, this BBC article about a presenter expressing anti-trans views breaching editorial guidelines has itself breached editorial guidelines. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

When politicians complain about toxic behaviour, they want you to think of unfair abuse and intimidation, but often mean citizens simply challenging their elected representatives' complicity in genocide, or cosy relationships with corporations, or failure to answer questions about conduct
