Doan and Kesselring were roommates in Utah and had pets. Kesselring has two cats (Socks and Ranger) and Doan has a St. Bernard-Poodle mix.
Doan says the "kids" didn't exactly live together peacefully. "The cats stayed upstairs." He said they gave Kesselring a hard time about being a cat guy.
