Right wing and libertarian types are afraid of Bluesky bc they'll actually get called on their bullshit and there are actual consequences. They know their shit won't fly and the block tendencies are much stronger. The idea they'll lose their power bc of their own actions is TERRIFYING to them.

So confused. Applied for a US passport renewal on Jan 24th (at like 11pm too). Got it in the mail today, was renewed on Jan 30th. 10 total days when it said 6+ weeks online. Very appreciative of the people working hard there but also I thought this stuff was super delayed 😅

I work with a lot of americans, and as a canadian I say "sorry" a lot, I know it's a cliche but I've realized there's a large cultural difference on how that word is percieved
in the US it's used to take culpability for something, in Canada it's used to express empathy for something happening
