In 2025, Republicans stripped a trillion from Medicaid and made historic cuts to SNAP in order to pay for tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans, and actively chose to make marketplace health insurance prohibitively expensive for millions more.

If Democrats can’t effectively run on that in 2026…

The next President needs to do this exact same thing for the Trump EOs
Mayor Mamdani has nullified every executive order issued by Eric Adams after he struck his corrupt bargain with Trump to secure dismissal of the indictment against him.

Congress should override this veto.
As Mark notes, everything Trump does is transactional. This isn’t about some sense of personal loyalty to a supporter any more than his Jan 6 pardons were, because Trump has never in his life felt a scintilla of loyalty to anyone. It’s about establishing a precedent he thinks will be useful to him.
A bill with bipartisan support to bring safe drinking water to people in Colorado is vetoed by Trump.
Why?
It appears he’s pressuring Colorado to free his crooked ally who is imprisoned for tampering with voting systems.
Trump doesn’t give a crap about anything but his own money and power.

USPS quietly changed its postmark rules — mail is no longer dated when you drop it off. The “official” date is when it hits automated sorting — sometimes days later

Which could have major implications for mail in voting — it’s a clever way to disenfranchise voters that’s going largely overlooked

If the Venezuelan sailors were enemy combatants, then the 2nd strike is a war crime.

If the Venezuelan sailors weren’t enemy combatants, then both strikes are criminal murder.

It’s that simple.

Citing fake cases in legal briefs should be considered a form of perjury or fraud or something and result in criminal charges against the lawyer, and it's ridiculous that no one really seems to care, either in the court system or the legislature.
Makes the whole legal system look amateur as hell.

Remigration is the most unAmerican thing possible.
A reminder for those who are not aware: "remigration" is the process of deporting all non-white people from a country. It includes citizens and is, by definition, ethnic cleansing.

And to be clear: this is not fake. I just screenshot it myself.

It would be so sad if Tesla saw continued decline and none of the metrics were met. Seems a lot of rich folks can’t see the value their employees really bring.
Musk is still talking at the Tesla shareholder meeting and he just criticized "the parasitic load of being a public company" which has "grown over time."

This from a man who was just awarded a $1 trillion pay package from more than 75% of his public company shareholders.

Feels quaint, almost cliché, to say this about a Trump action, but just for the record:

This is all illegal, the President can't simply disregard the laws passed and agencies created by Congress, and both Vought & Trump would be impeached if the Constitution or the rule of law mattered to the GOP.
