Dems/media condemning Joe for pardoning Hunter right after a psycho who has spent 4 years ranting that he was going to go after him is the most toxic kind of phony virtue signaling imaginable. Don’t forget to pat yourselves on the back from your perches on the moral high ground.

One year ago, Kash Patel, while sniffling repeatedly as he does in every interview (he just can’t shake that cold) promised to prosecute Hunter for new crimes. Then Trump names him FBI Director. He told you ahead of time he’s going after Hunter. So tired of the pearl clutchers.

Bluesky doesn’t have to be bigger than Twitter to be successful. It just has to be inviting, engaging and big enough that people can find people and accounts they enjoy engaging with, and or following.

Then People tell accounts and friends on other platforms to come here. It’s a SOCIAL network

Also look at how Republicans always scream "witch-hunt!" when their very real corruption and criminality is investigated.

If you can look back at how the Hunter Biden prosecution was handled and why it even happened in the first place and say "yes, Democrats must tolerate this" what you are doing is contributing to the creation of a double-standard in which Democrats must tolerate malicious prosecutions for optics.

Journalists flock to Bluesky as X becomes increasingly 'toxic'
Journalists are finding more readers and less hate on Bluesky than on the platform they used to know as Twitter.

When your MAGA uncle wonders why Trump is threatening tariffs and raising the prices of everything, after he repeatedly promised to do the opposite, look him straight in the eye and gently whisper:

"It was never about you...and now he doesn't need you anymore"

I am such a believer in this. Down-ballot is the way.

It’s also how we build a sustainable future of good leaders and infrastructure to elect and support them, as well as the movements they represent.

We don’t just need strong candidates. We need strong organizers, managers, CoS, grassroots, etc.
I’ve been organizing in rural areas since the first Trump administration. Rural Dems can make the difference in races at the top of the ticket.

Republicans have all of the electorate they’re ever going to have. Organize to turn out 5% to 10% more Dems in rural spaces. Watch what happens…

“…a time when the Democratic party couldn’t be more raw and when hope is hard to come by, friendly banter with Trump’s number one guy seems remarkably, well, feckless.”
Today I’m introducing a new column on The Handbasket called “Feck You" to highlight people and entities showing an alarming level of fecklessness in the face of rising fascism.

First up: Former Obama advisor David Axelrod, for his chummy interview with Trump campaign manager Chris LaCivita.

There are plenty of shitty amoral climbers like Nancy Mace who insincerely pretended to be tolerant before and now are being super bigoted — not out of any genuine conviction, but to get attention and votes and out of sociopathic indifference to the people it hurts.
