My wife describes me as a mash-up of Buddy the Elf, Andy from Parks and Rec, and Kronk, so while I was probably going to see it anyway, this review has sealed the deal
Superman was good. I cannot believe that until now I never connected with a character whose whole deal is being too stupid and simple-minded to think beyond "I want to do my BEST!! TO HELP!! RIGHT NOW!!!" and his conflict is that that is stupid. And then he wins

Taking the party over from within means starting local, so it's both the most effective and the most fun option. Ousting your racist school board members is a pretty cool bonus/consolation prize on your quest to oust a racist senator.
and in fact we are so far from a viable alternative that "take over the Democratic party from within" is by far the most realistic option to replace it with something else

Just bananas that Republicans will comment how displaying any sign that I'm a Democrat is "brave" (or my personal favorite, "looking for a fight") and not recognize that they are confessing to being the party of political violence.

I wish it was more okay for us to accept that some phenomenons are specific to that place and time. I don't think it's possible to recreate the feeling of the MCU run up to Endgame. It was an amazing time. But now everybody is chasing that feeling instead of looking for art.

I'm the middle of 7 boys, all J names. There are American League relief pitchers with better batting averages than my parents had.
