I like bikes and riding them.
Here it is, your #BlueSky #Bike Content of the Day for Monday, 11/10/25. For the unfamiliar, that is not a road, it’s a separated bike path, whose construction was accelerated after some beautiful, beloved, humans were run over by drivers while trying to traverse this street in a painted bike lane.

Here it is, your #BlueSky #Bike Content of the Day for Sunday, 11/9/25. This is SO bad ass! (As is @lauragmitchell.com)
Cargo biking, 99 years ago. Came across this in a photo archive, unfortunately with no info on who or where, just the year, 1926. But it made me think of @lauragmitchell.com and her lovely feed of her commutes to school and around town with her children.

Here it is, your #BlueSky #Bike Content of the Day for Friday, 11/7/25. Great video, but, I’ve always seen Seattle as a great biking city. Even better these days -
It can feel like a tough time for those who believe bikes are key to making our cities safer and better. So here are some lessons from a city that is bucking the trend

There is nothing I love more than closing gaps in the #bikeDC network.

This one is at 14th/Florida heading south "completing" the east end if the Florida Ave NE bike lanes.

Some refer to this stretch as the Sussman lanes due to my very specific advocacy here 😎

Here it is, your #BlueSky post-Halloween #Bike Content of the Day for Monday, 11/3/25. Riding your bike with your cape flying behind you is pure bikeism -
One of my favorite sights from Halloween was someone riding a bike at night with their cape flying behind them. Riding a bike with a cape flying behind you shouldn't have to just be for Halloween. People should be free to ride with their capes flying year-round.

This is what they’re doing to law-abiding citizens (in this case a young woman trying to get Starbucks on the way to work). They are waging war on us. This is not my America.
The Handmaid’s Tale level bullshit.

Immigration agents crashed into a U.S. citizen on her way to work—violently dragged her out and arrested her.

Her family couldn’t find her for hours. She was later released without charges.

Having served in Iraq and Afghanistan, it kills me that our children are seeing men with assault rifles and body armor racing around and grabbing people off the street. I felt such empathy for the street kids over there, but, was glad that my kids would never have to experience the same. No more.

And again, a pattern of putting out statements accusing people of serious Federal crimes and then releasing them hours or days or weeks later with no charges. And no retraction.
NEWS: Federal agents crashed with woman’s car, pointed guns at her, dragged her out by legs, tossed her in a minivan, held her and (eventually) let her go without charges. This as Chicagoans say the immigration blitz is out of control. (DHS blames her.)

Chicago woman dragged out of her car after colliding with ICE demands accountability
The arrest of Dayanne Figueroa highlights growing concerns about the use of force against U.S. citizens and due process. She was released after a few hours without charges.
