Fun fact - when my dad's car got stolen, we filed a police report and got a call about two weeks later that it had been picked up by a tow truck. The cops didn't find the car - it had just been illegally parked and left. After paying to get it out, we realized that it was full of stuff.

LA is running into budget problems because LAPD lawsuit payouts; if we lived in a rational world someone in charge would be like, "You guys need to fucking stop."
LAPD assisted by the Huntington Beach Police just came in full force firing munitions and with Horse support. Someone was trampled. Another has a serious head injury.
