I'm actually quite surprised that progressive groups (like maybe the DSA?) haven't pounced on this major opportunity to gather donations and start promoting MASSIVE amounts of candidates at all levels in all states who share just basic platform positions like Abolish ICE, Prosecute the Admin, etc.
So far I am seeing zero evidence that any Democrats have a serious appetite to defund ICE.
They are on course to fully fund the agency with maybe some fake guardrails to try to sanitize roving death squads.
