Scottish woman who loves music, good coffee, and wild weather. Bionic hips, reinforced ankle. Leadership development and coaching bod by day, massive RPG nerd by night.
The “dissolving” stitches in my foot are on the comeback tour. I scratched a bit of dry skin away from one of my heel scars and out emerged full long thread half an inch long. I am curious and holding back the boke in equal measure.

I spent a disproportionate amount of time explaining to this beautiful idiot that the noise she heard was me squeezing a pouch of micro rice, and not a pouch of cat food.

This is why I stick with BBC Alba for Hogmanay, you don’t get any of this insipid shite, just wall-to-wall ceilidh bangers, some kids singing in Gaelic, and a cameo from Peat & Diesel.

#Motability isn’t about giving disabled people free luxury cars for funsies. The mobility aspect of PIP covers the lease of a car (a fixed amount). If you want a BMW/Audi, you pay the difference. Most wheelchair accessible cars do cost more than the fixed amount, so ppl often pay extra to “upgrade”.
'Premium' cars like BMW and Mercedes cut from Motability scheme
Motability says it will provide vehicles that meet disabled peoples' needs and are safe and affordable.

You've been kidnapped! The characters from the last TV show you watched are your only hope for rescue. Who's coming to save you?

Oh no.

I had a really thought-provoking coaching session yesterday with a new client, and it’s reminded me of how much I enjoy it and how much more I want to be doing.

I wish I didn’t have to share this. But the BBC has decided to censor my first Reith Lecture.

They deleted the line in which I describe Donald Trump as “the most openly corrupt president in American history.” /1

Currently slathering my ankle and heel in aloe vera gel straight from the fridge because it’s hit the “scar looks neat but fuck me the whole thing is swollen and itchy” stage of healing.

The far right targeting a primary school is absolutely disgusting. These English classes are for the pupil’s PARENTS. Just shows people have NO idea how much schools do for families and it’s only a problem when the parents aren’t white www.thetimes.com/uk/scotland/...

Kathleen Stock has written an article against "abortion permissiveness". She claims abortion requires "justification" saying the state should limit "unacceptable decision-making" by women about their own bodies.

This is who anti-trans activists proclaim as the feminist thought leaders of our time.
