📍 My name is Sara, if anyone knows for me for anything it's probably streaming with the Scream Team (bob/void/mario) or being on Retsupurae. Nowadays I am just an old lady corpo worker who plays games and draws for fun. (Sometimes I stream!) I play MMOs and gachas, games like The Sims, etc.

3 years ago today, Riot Games offered me a job making more money than I ever thought I’d make in my life. I had 19 interviews over 2.5 months to get it. Partner and I were moving to LA for it. I put in notice at my job and apartment.
2 weeks later they rescinded the offer due to “headcount issues”.

the worst thing about my 12 week work leave is that I truly love not working - I need to spend this time productively to get in a better place emotionally and physically, but also it's going to be like the biggest Sunday Scaries that ever Scaried before I go back to work

My sub count has also drastically dropped over the last couple of weeks, currently sitting at the lowest it's been since 2018 (!), and between this post from PJ and Twitch just being completely moronic in recent memory I simply refuse to believe it's a coincidence.
My sub count has been steady for 6 years or so, and I've magically lost 100 in the past 3-4 days. Several more are reporting issues with payment processors not taking their cards now. Again, please recheck your subs to see if they're still active and not automatically cancelling.
My sub count suddenly dropped by ~20% overnight, and some of my subscribers were saying they had some billing issues with Twitch within the past week that required them to re-enter payment/card info. Might be a good idea to double-check the subs you intended to keep to see if they're active still.
