Amazing results in New York remind me how disappointing it is that congestion pricing efforts have stalled in San Francisco.
With congestion pricing, Muni service could be robustly funded, transit ridership would climb, and traffic through much of the Bay Area would significantly decrease.

Have to get from LAX to UCLA and decided to take the Culver City 6 bus. What a mistake. The bus is supposed to be here every 15 minutes on Saturday. There are five busses working the line today. It takes an hour from end to end… yeah, that’s not gonna hit your scheduled headways. SMDH.

I am pretty sure this isn’t a real “ordinance” and this is just an unnoticed (not on the menu), illegal after tax fee. I understand it is hard to run a small business but this crap just pisses me off. @sfgov.sf.gov

Willie Brown Middle School is a San Francisco 6-8 in the Bayview District. For the entire ‘24-‘25 school year, I have been driving the 44 O’Shaughnessy bus that stops there right after school gets out. That trip has been the busiest and most challenging part of my working day.

Periodic reminder that if SB 827 had passed EIGHT YEARS AGO, that your rent would be lower, that California wouldn’t have as many forced to live on the streets, that we wouldn’t be losing as much representation in DC, that our climate trajectory would be better, etc, etc, etc.

California, Hawaii, Singapore, Israel - I can think of many places where this type of technology would be super useful.
The Hong Kong Water Supplies Department provides a seawater supply service to buildings for flushing water closets (blue color is added). Water closet flushing typically represents 30% of domestic water use, which helps reduce freshwater use in the water stressed city of HK.
