Throwback Thursday: Main Man Mode. Drew it right after a few months working on Overwatch 2. That whole experience left me feeling skill-less, like maybe I didn’t belong in this industry. And yeah, he’s holding a gun that turns into a motorcycle. Straight from Santa, it’s the kind of stupid I love.

Working this Zelda Link piece out. Went with a chunky Master Sword this round. My theory is it’d grow bigger like the Sword from Thundercats.
Also gave Link a longer nose, I wanted something that leans more into my Ankama and Dofus influences than the usual Twilight Princess design.

Wrapped up this Gunslinger Spawn Scribbly. No saucy bg on this one, just color pencil over Copics & ink. I’ll probably stick to the full color bgs in the future, not the biggest fan of all the white space. The spinning gun was a blast to color. Mostly like the attitude that came out of this one.

Working on that Gunslinger Spawn commish. These are my ruffy lines, where I let the shapes breathe and the attitude come through. I blob in a few details like the hands and gun, just enough to guide the final pass. Gotta lock in the swagger before the cleanup.

I'll never stop laughing at how my self-hating Latino brother joined and was kicked out of the CBP for being incompetent within a year. Watch this and think how bad you gotta be to get have them throw you out.
