When I was young, a scientist in Darmstadt, Germany, said many Germans didn’t realize how dangerous Hitler was until it was too late.

Many are now laughing or ignoring him (soon they won’t be able to do either)

This 💯: he’s dangerous, don’t laugh, fight back while it’s still possible.

We will be hosting a mirror site of the CASP data and workflows at @sib.swiss. Operating a redundant site with independent funding is a good idea for important scientific infrastructure, independent from the current funding situation in the US.

My message to Trump’s NIH Director? No one in America wants us to do LESS cancer research.

No one is asking Trump to make it harder to cure Alzheimer's disease.

Yet Trump is cutting all of this NOW and demanding an $18 BILLION cut to NIH next year. Not on my watch.

Trump take scientists
As Trump slashes science spending, we could, quite literally, lose some of our best researchers to China.

This hurts our research progress and leaves a lasting mark on the economy, higher education, and national security.
