A decade ago, patients undergoing brain radiation needed to have a metal frame fixed to their skull for imaging. A team at UHN's Princess Margaret Cancer Centre saw a new way. Their invention, an innovation born and commercialized at UHN, revolutionized treatment.

For nearly 30 years, Pauline experienced chronic pain. Her brain was sending faulty signals from an injury that had long healed. Pain Reprocessing Therapy with UHN's Rehabilitation Pain Service helped retrain her nervous system.
