There was no response to our post about witch trials this morning, so let's recap:

In the 16th to mid 18th centuries, around 500 people were executed for witchcraft in England, and perhaps as many as 1500 in Scotland.

The equivalent number in Wales was FIVE.

In the early modern period (16th to mid 18th centuries) some 500 people were executed for witchcraft in England. In Scotland the number may have been as high as 1500. The majority of these people were women, though by no means all of them. Do you know what the equivalent figure was for Wales?
