No matter what happens in the election, I'm worried that there's going to be a big push from mainstream media/pundits/etc. to get Dems to turn on trans people.

I was surprised because normally you read an article like this and like ten paragraphs down there's the inevitable reveal that the company was bought by a private equity firm sometime in the last decade. But there's no such paragraph here.

No, I had to go to Wikipedia to find that paragraph.

"kamala harris will protect your right to disagree with her" is something i haven't really heard from another surrogate and i find it genuinely compelling?
NEW: Harrison Ford endorses Kamala Harris.

This is impactful, in part because it comes from someone without a long track record of endorsing candidates.

Call me crazy, but I think it’s a bit problematic that the richest man in the world owns one of the largest social media channels in the world, and has stolen the “America” handle from its owner, verified it, and is using it to spread far right propaganda in the name of the US to fix the election.

What Elon saw in Trump is the ability to lie relentlessly while cozying up to Nazis, ripping off anyone who trusts you, and wrecking any honest person who tries to apply the law to him.

And he thought, "What's not to like?"

Oh hey, some actually hopeful news in the timeline

What a concept
The world's first vaccine for ovarian cancer, which teaches the immune system to recognise and attack the earliest stages of ovarian cancer, is
being developed in the UK. It is hoped the vaccine (named OvarianVax) could wipe out the disease.

The effort by dead-ender leftists to attack the performance of the US economy under Biden has been truly shameful stuff. Zandi is exactly right and it’s truly pathetic that people try and tear down the biggest victory for left wing economic policy since FDR. Just shameful.
None of this would have happened if Joe Biden hadn't won in 2020.

If that seems overwhelming it's because it is! That's the point; they want to overwhelm us into inaction.

We can't let them get away with a thing!

Pixar: what if feelings have feelings

Pixar should make a movie about what if workers have feelings
To reiterate: Pixar's Inside Out 2 is the highest grossing animated film of all time.

Pixar also pushed artists into 7-days-a-week crunch, and right when they were getting to the finish line, laid them off.

These overworked artists lost their bonus, healthcare, and income in SF.

But it be interesting to hear why undecided voters in the news pages have first and last names, but the opinion section’s undecided voters are first name only.

This is constantly overlooked in the media. Orban is seen as just some guy in Europe who likes Trump. He's actually an autocratic dictator who has dismantled post-Warsaw Pact democracy in Hungary, and is now Putin's fifth column in Europe. He's closer to Moscow now than anyone was in 1989.
