I'm not surprised TOO often anymore about all the roleplay-text induced weirdnesses in LLM outputs, but the fact that poetry can be used to defeat prohibitions and produce nuclear weapon-making instructions is pretty odd/hilarious. Yet more kindling for the "magical incantations" camp

I'm often failing at this, less on the monetization mindset but in the very related stride of "What should I eventually say about [game] in an essay?" But it is very much the same vibe as "don't monetize all your hobbies."

I'll never forget the teacher I worked with who had worked in SpEd for decades...somehow, who experienced a child having a "throw a chair" level episode (not at her, just in the same building) and it shattered her "disabled children are god's angels" idea so hard she cried in a closet for two hours.
Some special ed teachers' brains are really busted from having stewed in a system of compliance and (white lady) saviorism for so long. Just saw one woman talking about how she was going to make her own (disabled) child earn lunch. Like, no ma'am you are not doing a "good job"; go feed your child.

I often find that people don't know their own country's immigration hurdles. Right wingers will always want them to be harsher, but I do genuinely find that many people ask for there to be tougher barriers than already exist, and then suggest things that are ligher than the present system.

Why am I so against generative AI in games?
Because I simply do not want my initial reaction to art to be one of suspicion and scrutiny, AI slop is fundamentally damaging my relationship to art and artistry, and I am deeply resentful that it is forcing me to be guarded when I should be wowed.
