The thing about The Simpsons is that it's set in the 90s. It is a show about life in the 1990s and the further we drift into the future the more bizarre and anachronistic everything about the show will seem.
simpsons added a few kids to springfield who are born this century and it makes sense for a lot of reasons but also i cant help but think 'Bart is thirty years older than that other kid'

For anyone lamenting how some goon was able to get a publishing deal - put together your own book! Create a solid concept, do some planning, create a design, and pitch it! Most publishers don't have open pitch seasons. They want to see someone that can see a full project to completion.

I'm a simpler guy and I wonder if she has realized he's showing her the rooms of the house in the order he expects her to clean them everyday for the rest of their life together (He's going to check via the miriad hidden cams he hasn't talked about)
