My biggest New Year’s resolution this year beyond projects I want to get done is to take in less garbage. Take in less franchise slop movies and TV. Take in less reactionary politics especially from so-called progressive spaces. Take in less social media bitterness and vitriol.

as an art enjoyer i love looking at keychains but i hold back from buying them most of the time because i simply don't have any need for another keychain (and i really don't understand the appeal of standees) so i would love to see artists branch out into more different types of merch/handmade stuff
I have never been a fan of acrylic. I stopped selling my earrings when I saw how much plastic went to scrap waste. I am pedantic about soft plastic waste, donating to support conservation, and next up: sourcing NZ wool felt for new, in-house sewn products.

As a former child junior olympic-level runner, I have a few thoughts on the attacks on trans girls in sports. I ran for one of the most competitive teams in Southern California, and people who ran for my have gone on to become professional athletes. And these bans: they're fucking NONSENSE. 🧵
