the story of the white male who didn't get an academic job after applying to "just a couple jobs" reminded me of Colin Wright grifting off not getting a TT job after one search. and here he is!

(Wright's publications were retracted because of fraud by his coauthor, which probably didn't help him)
Another incredible case of white racial grievance about the academic job market.

He reveals at the end that he wouldn’t provide the necessary application materials!

An own f––ing goal by Dems who backed this. A gratuitous own goal.
The Biden-signed bipartisan law to force the sale of TikTok, based on speculative national security concerns, has led to this: the app (and its 170 million U.S. users) is probably going to get spun off into the hands of some of Trump's biggest allies

Again, this is why you simply can't take Mark Kelly seriously (bsky.app/profile/mcop...), and yet another reason why Elissa Slotkin (bsky.app/profile/mcop...) cannot be anywhere near the future of the Democratic Party.

In a practical sense, Trump is not POTUS.

That job is being performed by a committee of three: Vance, Rubio, and Miller.

So heartbreaking to see this happen across the state. One thing I noticed about this statement that I would love to see media outlets adopt: a *driver* struck and killed a pedestrian. Too often I see a *car* struck a pedestrian.
Early Sunday morning, a driver struck and killed a 38-year-old named Allie who was biking across Beacon Ave S. The driver fled the scene. As a lifelong cyclist who’s had my share of close calls, my heart goes out to Allie’s family and friends.
