In the past, content from Christopher Blair, the "satire" story creator, has been spread as real by others, such as Macedonian hoax sites. Now that includes the president of the United States.

SEATTLE!!!

We’ve now taken the lead by 91 votes! 🤯 This thing is certainly not over! Over 1,000 ballots have been challenged, so if you haven’t tracked your ballot yet get on it! Our trusty volunteers have been working hard to "cure" ballots so they count! We're so close!

In a letter to the president, House Democrats say Maxwell’s treatment as she prepares a clemency request makes the convicted sex offender look like a “guest at a Trump hotel.”

The President pardoned members of his private militia after they failed to overturn an election; they, in turn, pledge their support to him and urge him to use them to police civil society.
New:

On The Gateway Pundit's podcast yesterday, Stewart Rhodes announced he's relaunching the Oath Keepers

He also urged Trump to “call us up as a militia" & "order us all to come together in our counties under his command."

Following up on this. This remains a ‘cave is minutes or hours away’ situation. If you want to impact how this plays out you need to contact senators literally now. I want to add additional points of context. What I’m relaying is what I’ve picked up from highly reliable sources.
Sounds like the squishes in the senate caucus are ready to pull the plug with no ACA changes. This is real. If you want to register your opinion you shld call yr senator in the next hour. They not only want to reopen w/nothing. They want cover from their colleagues who still want to hold out.

If the terms of this “deal” are as reported, just while Trump is at his weakest in a year, than it’s hard to see how anyone pushing wouldn’t be primaried. But it could be that a bunch of retiring Senators who are taking point in negotiations want to pull a Sinema.

Agree with this.

About to publish something on the airplane mess. But this too is ON THE REPUBS. It is not a reason to cave. Dems, it is a time to keep standing up.
Opening the government with no concessions from GOP merely to alleviate airline cancellations - when Congress has been dragging its feet for years on chronic FAA staffing issues - is a lame ass choice.

Also, doing it while the House refuses to work is appalling.

Okay yeah the House caucus is pissed.
I don't know what the Senate is going to do. But if they do in fact fold in exchange for nothing, they will be living up to past performance. To expect the Senate to carry out the will of the American people is to misunderstand why it was created in the first place.

good work everyone we've got Adam fucking Schiff out here on the Sunday shows Serwer-posting

it's a slam dunk but it's important they're actually taking the opportunity
Schiff: "The president -- 'I'm going out to play golf.' One thing that is so shocking to me is that they're appealing to the Supreme Court for the right to cut off food from people. Who does that? Who works so hard to cut food from people who need it right now? The cruelty is part of the policy."

If you compare Sliwa's vote total in 2025 (7%) to 2021 (28%) when he was also the Republican candidate, and Trump's approval rating among 2025 voters in exit poll (29%), it is likely that 22% of Cuomo's voters were Republicans. Without Trump's Cuomo endorsement Mamdani likely wins 50-29-19.
"a more moderate Democrat would've won by even more" idk there's a reason Mamdani is mayor and not one of the other 10 guys who ran against Cuomo in the primary, most of whom were more moderate than him?
Damn, I hate it when things that happen mean nothing :-(

USDA telling states to pause benefits is one thing. Telling them to claw back benefits is another: a) illegal - you can't do this without due process b) an administrative nightmare.
If courts rule against the administration (again), states would have to given benefits back.
bsky.app/profile/cram...
Yikes. USDA sent threatening letter to states telling them that if they sent out EBT money —which many states did during the window when a lower court said SNAP funds had to be released—they have to take it back (?)
Trying to sort out what this means and if states even can claw back the funds

This is an absolutely insane administrative process. Within the space of a week, states were told by judges/White House
*no SNAP benefits
*half benefits
*full benefits
*pause provision of benefits.
Result is chaos, uncertainty, and uneven access to benefits depending on where people live.
NEW: The Trump admin told states it must immediately "undo" the work to provide full food stamp benefits, or face penalties. The feds sent this in a late-night memo, only adding to the chaos and confusion around SNAP. www.nytimes.com/2025/11/09/b...

Even though Ben Shapiro would decry such gut bucket antisemitism, it's noteworthy that a) he's the guy partially responsible for her fame and b) Ben himself wrote an entire book about how "bad Jews" control Hollywood in 2014. He even went on a neo-Nazi show to promote it! bsky.app/profile/seth...
Today I learned, thanks to @matthew.flux.community, that in 2014 Ben Shapiro appeared as a guest on a show run by a neo-Nazi. It was an entirely friendly conversation about how liberal Jews who hate white people, straight people, and Christians took over Hollywood and have brainwashed the nation.
