When I was with Starbucks, they gave new MacBooks to all us managers and I posted on Workplace (the internal Facebook) asking if I could return the laptop in exchange for more labor hours for my baristas.
I got 100s of likes from across the country and a very stern talking to from corporate.

RE starbucks picket line--the relevant detail is "picket line, do not cross." Pass that along. Proclaiming that you are in no danger of doing so because you are too aesthetically pure to let Starbucks coffee pass your lips is...unhelpful and does not give the impression you perhaps imagine it does.

I‘ve seen a lot of smug “well I don’t buy Starbucks anyway” responses (which is honestly fair I’m in the same boat) but as a former Starbucks employee may I suggest looking up if any stores in your city are unionized and dropping by with pizza/donuts/water/high-fives to show support?
Union Starbucks baristas have overwhelmingly authorized an unfair labor practice strike starting TOMORROW (Thursday, November 13th), grinding Starbucks to a halt during the company’s busiest sales day of the year.
