The prevailing argument for staying registered with the Democratic Party seems to be that independents can’t help choose which candidate will ultimately throw them under the bus and that’s not a particularly compelling case for me

When the primary driver for the continued existence of your party is switching cost rather than value returned to voters you’ve got a problem my friends

Scott Galloway is a fascinating character to me based on how often I ALMOST agree with him. Usually goes something like:

Point A: Statement I agree with
Point B: Fairly reasonable assumption
Conclusion: what are you talking about man how did we get here

I only have room in my life to identify with one organization of chronic losers with delusions of grandeur and that is the University of Oklahoma football team thank you very much

And yes, they end up getting my vote by default but I never feel “betrayed” when the democratic leadership inevitably does something cowardly.
