The government just ended my ability to even apply to medical school, it’s no longer an option because private student loans would lead to absolute financial ruin. All of my work for the past 5-8 year...

The best thing I ever did for myself as a disabled person was work on my internal ableism before I head any inkling I would become disabled. You too could end up disabled someday. Do yourself a favor and make the world more disability friendly today. #disabilitypridemonth

so apparently there’s a new study on the origins of long covid that point to why some folks got blood clots from their covid infection. this research is great! i’m remembering my dad, who died from a blood clot a year ago, possibly from long covid.

i'll take this a step further and say the smaller and more regionally important the city they're afraid of, the more embarrassed they should be. what do you mean you don't want to get out of your car driving through Tulsa
We need to build some real social stigma around being afraid of cities. You don't have to like them or live there, but a politics built this strongly around watching TV and going "ewww" is embarrassing, and people should be embarrassed by it. It's like "fear of werewolves" being your top issue.
