Filming is not obstruction, and courts have rejected attempts by officers to use “resisting” or “interfering” as a pretext to stop lawful recording.

The NYPD confirmed its involvement in an FBI investigation that included surveillance of a private Signal chat of volunteer courtwatchers monitoring ICE activity inside New York City’s immigration courthouses.
NYPD Confirms Involvement in FBI Probe Targeting Volunteer Observers in Immigration Court
An FBI document referred to activists at immigration courts as “anarchist violent extremist actors” and cited a "sensitive source with excellent access” to an encrypted chat.

Occasional reprimands (without heavy material consequences) from the courts in relation to widespread and ongoing violations of rights by DHS is completely insufficient. This is tyranny.

For immigration courts to be fair tribunals that meet due process requirements, judges must be impartial. DOJ's hiring campaign throws a heavy weight on the side of deportations, skewing the scales of justice.

Tonight, the Department of Homeland Security announced that on Tuesday they detained 14 of our neighbors on immigration charges. What they initially reported as a targeted criminal enforcement action was in fact an identity-based raid on people who had done nothing but show up for work that day.

ICE agents in Queens, New York break down a bedroom door and point guns at a mother & her four US citizen children

They dragged the mother out by her hair while yelling at the kids to “put your hands up, stupid!”

This is tyranny

These kids are traumatized

It was warrantless and no ID was shown.

Did you know that ICE personnel, like all federal officers, swear an oath to uphold the U.S. Constitution, similar to the military oath. This obligates them to obey only lawful orders. The day of reckoning is coming. There will be a day like the Nuremberg trials in the United States. Mark my words.🔄

Anyone know the penalty for prosecutors playing "we make everything up" to a judge repeatedly?
This is nuts.

Yesterday in the Comey hearing, prosecutors *repeatedly* confirmed that the full grand jury never saw or voted on the two-count indictment.

Now they’re claiming the grand jury *did* vote on it.

theres no coming back from this without prosecuting everyone up and down the chain of command
They lied about it. All of it. A thug cop shot an unarmed woman five times without justification, boasted about it to his colleagues, and then this administration tried cover it all up by arresting her and charging her with felonies.
Absolutely incredible; after shooting Marimar Martinez 5 times and arresting her on claims that she rammed them and pulled a gun, prosecutors have now moved to dismiss ALL criminal charges against her and her codefendant.

We're being governed by a hodgepodge informal junta. Miller seems top of the list, for now, as de facto chief of staff. The vice president is pretty far down it. Cabinet members and agency heads, to a degree. But mostly White House staff, who hold no office and are not even confirmed by the Senate.

This is the relevant discussion from Monday's opinion — and I think(?) it suggests(?) that someone (Halligan?) did, in fact, alter the third image, after it was signed, to add the "Count 1 only" language — perhaps to try and "unwind this procedural knot"?

This goes far beyond prosecutorial misconduct and suggests criminal fraud. Lindsey Halligan’s immediate disbarment and criminal prosecution is not only justified, but required, if we intend to live under a system of laws.
