Whatever your feelings are on artificial intelligence, A.I. has nothing to do with the purpose of the alt attribute or alt text. To suggest that people deliberately write misleading alt text in order to "stick it to A.I." is going to hurt the humans who rely on it to access the web.
Some are suggesting you deliberately write inaccurate or confusing alt text, because they say this confuses AI scrapers that are analyzing images.
The purpose of alt text is to help people who cannot see the image. Deliberately misrepresenting the image is a gross misuse of alt text. Don't do it.

Goed nieuws voor ouders met kleine kinderen in Overvecht: vanaf 1 januari kunnen zij hun peuter gratis naar de voorschool brengen. De gemeente Utrecht wil daarmee kinderen die opgroeien in een gezin met een laag inkomen meer kansen bieden om een goede start te maken in het basisonderwijs.

I live 5min walking distance from 2 supermarkets, 2 pubs, a cinema and numerous restaurants, 10min from town, 15min from work, 30min bus ride to nearest city. Despite this, car-owing zealots seem to think I'm an idiot because I don't spend £200+ a month on a vehicle I don't need.

Als jong meisje bezoekt Halima el Ghamarti meerdere keren per week de bibliotheek in Kanaleneiland samen met haar vader en zussen. Met plastic tassen, zó vol boeken dat ze bijna scheuren, verlaten ze iedere keer weer het gebouw. Maar in de verhalen die Halima leest, staan nooit de namen of achtergronden van vriendjes en vriendinnetjes uit haar wijk. Nu, jaren later, heeft ze haar eigen kinderboek, geïnspireerd op Kanaleneiland.
