I'm such a prick about Valve because their work is still the most inspirational to me in this entire medium. I don't think that'll ever change. It's just at the central axis of how I think about games and find compelling to make. They'll always be on a pillar I can't topple.

Don't mention NSFW and don't mention the word commission as well, to be safe.

Sharing to help many. Keep going guys and be careful.
Apparently P*ypal now asks for customer opinions on accounts sending invoices.
If you are paying an invoice to a nsfw artist, do NOT mention NSFW in any way, keep it blank even. you risk both your account and the artists.

The PS2 truly is the best console ever because it is constantly becoming more powerful. Each time we say something "looks like a PS2 game" we're talking about a game of a higher fidelity than the last. What the PS2 is capable of in 2025 is so far beyond what it was capable of in 2003. That's amazing

Do not split
the hong kong protestors used the phrase "do not split" to mean that the radical protest and peaceful protest arms of the movement should refuse to criticize each other.

If you’re in the middle, where you have standards and need a pc for everyday creativity or high performance online gaming, but you dont fully trust yourself to type in the terminal for troubleshooting - then the transition might be a bit more bumpy for you. Thats how its been for me.

Ive come to the conclusion that linux are perfect for two types of ppl:

- tech savvy ppl who loves coding and programming and want a pc that can be customized via terminal commands

- boomers and some normies that have absolutely ZERO tech sav and just use their pc for email and internet browser.

Linux = gnosticism (you may know God directly and look upon his terrible visage)

Windows = Catholicism (your interactions are heavily mediated and there's a nonzero chance you'll have an abusive experience)

MacOS = Scientology (you are a pay pig)

The european citizens' initiative to ban conversion therapies in the EU only has 250k signatures and needs to amass 1 million in the next 7 days... If you live in the EU, please sign it (you can't otherwise); if you don't, please share it around.
Si l'initiative citoyenne européenne visant à interdire les thérapies de conversion dans toute l'UE ne récolte pas 1 million de signatures d'ici 10 jours, elle échouera malheureusement...

Making a game in a 3d environment, where the camera can be controlled via mouse?

Make the adjustable sensitivity a decimal, float, double, whatever. None of this integer shit. Probably like the one flaw with Ultrakill.

Tried the R.E.P.O. Beta. Most notable changes include the nerfing of using improvised objects as weapons, nerfing of manhandling the enemies around, as well as the buffs of purchased store items, as well as a reduction of price to them. The issue with this is a bit of a hammer & nail design thing.
