Exactly THIS. I do not need to hear “both sides” here. People are either endowed with unalienable rights or the state has jurisdiction over our bodies. Trans athletes/prisoners/people are not the reason the cost of living is out of control or healthcare is inaccessible. That’s the wealthy oligarchs

They are not covered by work comp for injuries they sustain. God forbid it be a continuous trauma requiring lifetime medical treatment. They cannot be employed as firefighters after release from prison. These people put themselves on the line for almost nothing. They deserve so, so much more.

I don’t see cis folks discussing this nearly enough, if at all. There is a LOT of denial from the cis community about the creeping acceptance of trans discrimination among Dems. How can we ever save these children if we won’t even recognize the facts in front of us?

I have written probably more than anyone on this subject (hundreds of thousands of words) and the answer is that executives often have no idea what happens at their companies or what actual work looks like
I do not understand why, after remote work has been repeatedly proven to be just as productive (if not more so) than in-office work, people should be required to return to in-office work in order to justify the money the bosses spent on real estate.
Demanding that people go back to the office five days a week has been shown to punish staff who are lower-income, parents, and disabled. It is also not necessary for reporters and journalists who do much of their work in the field, on the phone, or on laptop computers that can be used anywhere.
