I’ve never seen Rocky, so sorry if the comparison isn’t quite right. I felt like going the Karate Kid route might get into some questionable cultural appropriation for me, a white woman.
How does one find a mentor to train you and push you to your physical limits to reach great success while still maintaining a relationship of mutual respect and perhaps even friendship? Like a Rocky situation, I guess. I’m 40 and it hasn’t happened organically, so maybe I’m doing something wrong?
