We had volunteers on the Transportation advisory committee. It was a great way to get the ear of council and it led to some really positive conversations and momentum. It would be very damaging to remove these committees.

We heard from hundreds of speakers at council weighing in on a budget they still can’t see. The few details available already point to major fee increases and cuts to services. Vancouver deserves transparency — people should know what’s being proposed and how it will affect affordability.

The opposition threw amendment after amendment at ABC and there was ZERO effort to get to yes with a tiny exception that watered down one of them.
ABC will cry foul about this but I heavily doubt their good faith - they weren't interested in finding out how this could pass.
