Some of you will know I've written a novel, Miss Boston and Miss Hargreaves, based on the life of my black sheep grandmother, Rene Hargreaves and her partner Elsie Boston.

I was sent this recently by a relative of Elsie's. Elsie far right, elusive as ever, garden theatricals.

Anyone know of a medical book or website targeted to authors or writers? I want to hurt my characters and save them realistically, but my confidence level at properly interpreting medical papers whose intended audience is "qualified surgeons" is low.

Some well-remunerated Labour consultant thought this was a genius move because it would help win the 24-hour news cycle.
Anyone who has been to see a concentration camp or even watched a documentary will have seared into their brain the images of piles of personal items (shoes, glasses, jewellery, etc) that were seized and how forlorn and laden with symbolism they are. No spin can fix that.

Really worth a read particularly if you’re inclined to indulge Watson as a controversialist.
Scientific breakthroughs are rarely unique; someone else would’ve made them soon enough. But when prominent scientists cause harm, that harm isn’t inevitable; the world might simply have been better had the harm not been inflicted.

So the key concern for the war criminal PM is not that Israeli soldiers raped and brutalized a detainee.
But that the info got out.
