Just watched the final episode of the Girlbands Forever doc on #BBC - what an excellent series! I was a pop fan from All Saints onwards (along with Britpop bands) & didn’t quite appreciate what a brutal industry it was when I was dancing around to their brilliant music on nights out with my mates!

Spent the morning fiddling with a book review and at one point did a typo on my #Braille display and discovered that letter “a” followed by the dollar sign is Australian dollars! Fairly useless but it made me smile haha!

I’ve just had a book coincidence… I’m reading a novel set in South Africa that references the Boer war of 1899-1902 several times, and another book set in England in 1900 with a character in it who’s returned injured from the same war #Booksky

Nearly went flying when I got on the bus today (which was being driven like a go kart) & was saved by my leg brace giving me balance, my walking stick, & my PA being in front of me. The outcry from the other passengers helped to halt the bus so I could find a seat, but that was scary! #Disability

Chuffed to have updated my Braille Sense 6 today without any mishaps! 🙌 I was nervous to do it as I haven’t done a big update on it before but all went well and I’ve been enjoying playing around with the new #Braille Practice app which I think will be very useful to use with my learners
