Interesting . I have my aunts and didn’t know it was the last metal machine
For #ThingThursday, this Singer 500A sewing machine, nicknamed “Rocketeer.” Apparently the last of the all-metal Singer sewing machines from the 1960s. Stylish and functional! I bought it the other day, and haven’t yet had the chance to try it out and see how functional.

We can stop this bill in the Senate, where they will need seven Democratic votes to break the filibuster.

Rand Paul has suggested he will be no, John Fetterman has suggested he'll be a yes.

Call your senators and tell them to stand firm. Scripts and language here.

I want to watch TV coverage of the live fall of the Syrian regime.

CNN is airing a Giuliani documentary, Fox News has a comedian joking about Canada, MSNBC a documentary about migrants

So I turned on BBC,which is breathlessly switching between Syria, South Korea demonstrations, and Ghana election

I personally don’t celebrate gun wielding assassins in broad daylight under any circumstances.

That being said: United HealthCare absolutely did try to kill me by trying to cut my chemotherapy dosage and I had to get my senator to intervene and it was one of the most traumatic weeks of my life.

Great read
While Bluesky looks like other social apps on the surface, it’s actually quite different. It’s an open network.
