Classrooms have just come around to regarding graphic novels as important tools in the development of students’ relationship to literature and developing a habit of reading thanks to a lot of wonderful teachers and librarians, and this undermines all of that work. It’s so fucking stupid.

A story like this instantly weeds out who is full of sh*t & who isn’t.

This is highly credible scientific data pointing towards the livable world ending by 2050.

Anyone not engaging with this is economically captured, high on their own supply or a well paid idiot.

Tell your lawmakers to oppose the Kids Online Safety Act- there are better ways to protect kids online without throwing other vulnerable people under the bus.

If you’re a Democratic voter who believes we are facing the threat of fascism, understand that right now it is vital to “purity test” candidates.

The implications of letting just anyone hold power in a moment that dire are vast.

Democrats can’t meaningfully claim to oppose Donald Trump while simultaneously pushing bad internet bills like KOSA, EARN IT, Section 230 limitations, and online ID laws, that *empower* the Trump administration to further censor, surveil, and prosecute marginalized people.

Trump has given up on his biggest campaign promise.

Now he mocks the cost of living crisis and calls affordability a "con job."

Meanwhile, corporations that have the power to jack up prices, suppress wages, and bust unions are laughing all the way to the bank (and funding Trump's ballroom).

Starke County, Indiana voted 75% for Trump in 2024.

But now they're opposing Trump's AI agenda, and the Planning Commission voted unanimously to recommend a 12 month pause on new hyperscale data centers.

Banning AI data centers is becoming increasingly popular.

Hi @warren.senate.gov just to be crystal clear I never wanna see you at Boston Pride again prancing around in a feather boa.

By cosponsoring #KOSA you are actively helping the Trump admin take away lifesaving resources from LGBTQ youth.

We asked you to meet with our coalition. You ignored us.

I wrote this back in 2023 when @warren.senate.gov cosponsored #KOSA the first time.

Since then

-Trump got re-elected

-Appointed a MAGA zealot to run the FTC (who would enforce KOSA's speech police rules)

-KOSA-like laws have been struck down on 1st amendment grounds

Didn't she go to law school?
