This is the big part - Rad cannot afford to do a recall soooo all their bikes they’ve sold are now junk. I have been shouting this from the rooftops for at least eight years and it’s sad it’s finally come to this.
The importer, Rad Power Bikes Inc., of Seattle, Washington has refused to agree to an acceptable recall. Given its financial situation, Rad Power Bikes has indicated to CPSC that it is unable to offer replacement batteries or refunds to all consumers.

This is the big part - Rad cannot afford to do a recall soooo all their bikes they’ve sold are now junk. I have been shouting this from the rooftops for at least eight years and it’s sad it’s finally come to this.
They could fund light rail to the West Shore if they put speed cameras in the TCH construction zones.

Mom didn’t drive so we rode transit all over Toronto. When we moved to Victoria, I relived my past by retracing trips on old TTC maps.
Then in the late 90s, I was inspired by Monty Python and some random Hawaiian comedian to build terrible websites using my dad’s CorelDraw and Netscape Composer.

I understand the benefits perfectly, and they make sense, but platform boarding doors for metro systems are my worst nightmare. Removing the rush of air and unobstructed view of a train arriving in a station is an unimaginable loss of romantic feeling and metaphor from society. Don’t @ me about it.

Do any transit nerds live near Aldergrove? I’m looking for photos of one (or all) of the following bus stop signs: 57308, 57311, 57313, 53715. I’m fairly certain these say “ValleyMax” on them, despite the ValleyMax branding being discontinued for like 15 years. But Streetview is also out of date.

One of the arguments the Class Is and AAR put up any time anyone talks about freight rail electrification is that there's no electric locomotives designed for US/NA freight service. While on the surface this claim is true, it's also not a big deal
