I figured out why it does this: it happens when I have my VPN on, and it’s more likely to happen when it’s in some geographic locations compared to others 👀

I love the library. My kid loves the library. We max out all our cards getting books for her every month. I am sometimes overwhelmed by the sheer volume of picture books tho and I just found out LAPL has a form you can fill out and a librarian will select 5 books for your kid and put them on hold. 😎

Joining the chorus of “libraries!” to also add that if you’re worried about forgetting to return on time (like I was), ebooks make things much easier AND many library systems have done away with late fees for physical items. You’re only charged for damaged or lost items, which seems fair imo!

And I s2g if I have to hear “ksst ksst ksst” then feel stray grease droplets land on me, I might finally end up throwing hands for real at the movie theater
