Photo by Pierre Lavie. Yes this is me. And I threw my Leica. It landed on the bass plate with hardly a scratch. Another Photographer grabbed it along with my phone and I was able to track him later. I was held face down tear gas deployed right in front of me and pepper sprayed directly into the eye.

Yesterday, these incompetent fucks were just going door-to-door in a neighborhood near my house at 8:30 in the morning. School buses were driving through trying to pick up kids, people were out walking their dogs, and people were taking out their trash cans.

I'm having a hard time finding comfort in reports that Senate Dems won't increase funding for ICE at the end of the month. A copy/paste appropriation of billions of dollars all while ICE are abusing, maiming, & killing people is just disgusting. I don't know how any person can justify it.

I just saw a Mayor from Maine who is here (I didn't catch what city, probably Portland?) who asked what they can do since they know it's coming, here is my two cents:
1) Eviction moratoriums -- people do not need to worry about shelter during these horriffic events
