Not saying this isn't true, but it misses the point that dysphoria / unhappiness with one's own appearance are things that exist beyond the "how cis people are going to treat you".
People always say “how can anyone else love you if you don’t love yourself” but what no one seems willing to explore is how hard it is to love yourself when the people you love don’t like you or abandon you

So clownish that
1) we barely know how many of us there are; and
2) despite being a tiny minority (of the larger gender-variant community), we're constantly portrayed as hegemonic and privileged by that same community

It is time for a Laptop Post about passing.

OK frist of all, quoted image could be a joke because it's kinda funny, so I'm not even talking about that specifically.

The #1 thing feminists are afraid of is "passing" !
I don't think any website invented the concept of passing as a different sex.

One of the greatest acts of gaslighting ever perpetrated upon trans women, and transsexuals more broadly, is the idea that being a binary transsexual woman is less revolutionary than being a non-conforming cissexual.

A stunning amount of transmisogyny flows downstream from that.
So-called binary trans women are NOT privileged.

"...binary trans women indicated facing greater cumulative escalation in risks in the community and health environments, but all of the other six assessed environments showed nonbinary transfems indicating higher cumulative increased risks scores."

This is how non-transitioners make decisions
If something feels off about someone - in your gut, your body or your intuition, step back, no matter how much you care about them, no matter what they say, no matter what you want or hope for. Press the pause button. Step back. Listen inside.

🎯.

Better to look like an androgynous Twink in men's clothes than a linebacker in a dress if you have the choice.
Also *even if* you won't pass, there's a massive difference dysphoria-wise between having androgynous facial features/stopping things from getting worse, vs becoming John 50 while aging on testosterone

That someone like this is ostensibly a figurehead for the trans movement is a testament to how much we have lost control of the ship. Healthcare is the priority. Alienating potential allies by describing sports concerns as "sexist", "racist" and "eugenic" is an incredibly poor strategy.

It isn't 2015 anymore, Jesse! 'The left' has come to embrace the USA flag over the past few years.

'People in the streets' had absolutely nothing to do with the GAC defunding provision being axed from the BBB. It was McBride and Baldwin successfully lobbying the democratic caucus. The protests that have occurred had little to do with trans rights.

You will never guess some trans activists reaction to this completely uncontroversial and true statement from McBride:
Sarah McBride on the Medicaid ban on gender-affirming care dying: "I think there are a lot of people who are rightfully relieved."

Tweeted by someone who's username is an addictive deadly drug at a time where McBride and Senator Baldwin successfully stifled any democrat defectors considering gutting trans medicaid funding.
good work sarah. i hope you are whipping dem senators hard about the risk to electricity prices this morning. thank you for your attention to this matter.

Anti-ai sentiment is a moral panic cooked up by baizuo feminism, the same people who think video games make you a rapist. This neo-luddism is gradually destroying the culture of American technical competence and we're very quickly going to find ourselves dumber than Asia, or even moreso I mean.

NEW: Most Americans who grew up in the 1990s and later are unlikely even to have heard the name Jimmy Swaggart before his death was announced this week.

But the disgraced minister's story is an important tale of our times.

How Jimmy Swaggart Changed American Christianity
The disgraced televangelist built his career on an undeniable talent. His downfall contributed to a major shift in how Americans viewed religious leaders.

For those doing DIY HRT in the US. I just was shown this from a friend and it looks like DIY HRT is about to be under attack from the DOJ. The beginning of page 3 is where it is in this memo.

HRT for MtF is both about symptom alleviation and autonomy.
HRT isn’t about “autonomy”, though. you’re thinking of recreational hormone abuse

Do you think it will pass
This means that Democrats will have to raise a point of order on this part of the bill. This would force a vote on the amendment that would require 60 votes. Republicans have 53 Senate seats, so it means they would need to pick off 7 Democrats for this.

Democrats wrestle whether to kill ban on trans care in Trump’s ‘Big, Beautiful Bill’
Democrats have an opportunity to protect transgender people’s health care. It also comes at a time when Republicans see anti-trans policies as a winning issue, Eric Garcia writes

It is concerning that people like this feel bold enough to hold up signs with their names and faces promoting the defunding of the biggest healthcare provider to women and LGBT people.
June 28, 2025 at 11:36 PM
Friendly reminder in the wake of Skrmetti. Transfems/MtFs should not buy into the psyop about DIY HRT being dangerous; we have the most to lose from not receiving hormones, and must take our own health into our own hands to live the lives we desire.

NGNM take estrogen regardless of the laws.
June 28, 2025 at 9:17 PM
99% of trans women I have met would never describe estrogen as "generally shitty", but a non transitioning theymab thinks it's analogous to AZT because it makes it sometimes makes it so you can't knock up women.

The comparison is ironically both homophobic and transphobic
