'People in the streets' had absolutely nothing to do with the GAC defunding provision being axed from the BBB. It was McBride and Baldwin successfully lobbying the democratic caucus. The protests that have occurred had little to do with trans rights.

This was posted LITERALLY a day before it came out, McBride + Baldwin killed any democratic momentum to side with the GOP. A "tired anarchist" knows nothing about how to succeed in axing such amendments, whereas McBride did succeed in doing what the online critics of her did nothing to halt!

If we want trans rights to succeed, it is imperative that we elevate more McBrides and Buttigegs who are media savvy and presentable to normies instead of putting people like this in positions of authority and publicity. Incrementalism > Ideology is the way forward for trans healthcare.

Friendly reminder in the wake of Skrmetti. Transfems/MtFs should not buy into the psyop about DIY HRT being dangerous; we have the most to lose from not receiving hormones, and must take our own health into our own hands to live the lives we desire.

Like, this stuff is gross!!! Wanting to be stealth or not have biological offspring is morally neutral and was once understood as a pillar of reproductive freedom ("No woman can call herself free who does not own and control her body"). The assertion that GD is 0% heritable is baseless too.

I kind of want to write a Substack article about the fertility panic in trans healthcare. I have seen even supposedly pro trans people humor it (eg this anarchist Theymab who compared trans medicine to AZT- a drug hat shortened gay men's lives).

Yes. I used to support Bernie Sanders when I was an angry teenager, but the more I read about European healthcare the more I oppose copying their systems. The M4A Act literally gives the HHS. It's in the first sentence!

This is so gross lol. If I had to choose one, living as someone on estrogen w/ MtF surgeries is infinitely preferable to being called she and being a full time crossdresser off HRT. Politically trns people are in a different reality.

They like to play this game where they are like, "women of color are seen as more masculine (True!) by society, therefore getting FFS to have a female looking face is upholding racist patriarchal beauty standards." When in reality these are entirely uncorrelated outside fringe cases.
